A: This plan comes with three types of foundations and the crawl space foundation uses concrete piers. So you should be good there. Regarding the solar panels, all you would need to do is ask the solar panel manufacturer what the additional weight (dead load ) in pounds per square feet that the panels would add to the roof. He would then need to provide that information to the truss manufacture prior to fabrication of the trusses. The other components of the house should not be effected.
