Compact Design with Full Sized Amenities
Small Home Plan 80532 is a simple and attractive design with a rectangular floor plan. Inside, rooms fit into that rectangle in such a way that there is no wasted space. Say no to dark hallways and hello to pocket doors. We love the attractive exterior with its white vertical siding and tapered wooden columns on the front porch. Choose black window frames and a black front door to contrast handsomely against the white. Place two chairs on this porch, and they will be a welcoming sight every day when you arrive home.
Small Home Plan With Functional Floor Plan
Small Home Plan 80532 offers 1,360 square feet of living space, 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. The floor plan is very functional. Firstly, check out the spacious kitchen with ample storage. Homeowners will appreciate the large 10 foot long kitchen peninsula because it comfortably seats four. The pantry includes an appliance bar to keep your coffee maker and other counter appliances tucked away yet easily accessible. Secondly, the dining area is enhanced by a 72” wide recessed electric fireplace with a recessed swivel mount television above.
Thirdly, the optional vaulted ceiling in the living room and kitchen rises to 13’-1” at the center. Rooms feel even more spacious because of the vaulted ceiling. Pocket doors leading into the master suite and office can either be closed for privacy or left open to provide great sightlines through the large 5'-4” wide openings. Pocket door design solves the need for privacy, and it eliminates the need for long hallways. Instead of losing square footage in the hallway, you can have wider bedrooms!
3 Bedroom, One Story House Plan
Speaking of the bedrooms, let's take a look at the master suite. The modern walk-in shower in the master bathroom provides both easy access and eliminates the maintenance required by glass doors. Measuring over 6'-6” from end to end, the shower accommodates dual shower heads and a built-in bench. The master ensuite also includes a dual sink vanity and large walk-in closet with an optional laundry chute. The convenient laundry chute is something you didn't know you needed!
Two more bedrooms on the opposite side of the house are equal in size. The pocket door in the hallway can be closed to provide a private bathroom ensuite for guests. When it's time for chores, find the mudroom/laundry room complete with a linen cabinet, a coat closet and a large mechanical closet.
